ICU RN Job in Towson, MD

Greater Baltimore Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the night shift. This is a 63-day assignment beginning November 10, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,056.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Location: Towson, MD
• Facility: Greater Baltimore Medical Center

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of ICU patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Provide accountability for the quality of nursing services delivered
• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and plan appropriate care based on patient needs
• Adhere to facility-determined on-call and weekend schedules with no scheduling restrictions

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of recent ICU experience
• 2+ years of experience working with stroke patients (must be listed on resume)
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Active Maryland nursing license with Nursys verification (less than 30 days old)
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification
• Active NIHSS certification required at time of submission
• Willingness to obtain mRs/SIREN certification within 48 hours if offered
• Willingness to complete Basic EKG assessment and score 85% or higher within 48 hours if offered

• Completion of discipline-specific skills checklist
• One supervisory reference from the last 6 months
• One supervisory reference from the last 12 months
