Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call required 2 days per week and every other weekend
• Must respond to call within 30 minutes
• Will consider travelers with outpatient ultrasound experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARDMS, ARRT (Sonography), BLS
• Proficiency required in a wide range of ultrasound procedures including obstetrics (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester), abdominal, vascular, breast, carotid, doppler studies, transvaginal, and ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Experience with special procedures including ultrasound-guided breast biopsy, thyroid biopsy, paracentesis, and thoracentesis required
• Proficiency with Siemens and Philips ultrasound equipment required
• Experience with PACS system required
• Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds
• Must be able to handle critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure
• No float required
