Respiratory Therapist Job in Omaha, NE

CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) with every other weekend required. Weekly pay is $2,079, and your start date is September 14, 2026.

Your Role:

• Float throughout the hospital to provide respiratory care across all inpatient areas and floors, treating patients from neonates to geriatrics
• Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry
• Operate and manage respiratory equipment including ventilators (Drager, Servo I, Carefusion), BiPAPs (Vision, V60, V30, Respironics S/T), and high-flow devices (Airvo2)
• Collaborate with a Lead Therapist on each shift; a hospitalist or intensivist is in-house 24/7
• You will not be the only RT on duty
• Chart using EPIC

What You Need:

• Recent Level 1 or Level 2 experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), and either Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC
• NRP and PALS preferred
• Valid driver's license required at the time of submittal
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient-care departments
