ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work 36 hours per week in 19-bed emergency department plus 4-bed psychiatric pod
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Day and night shift secretary support Monday-Friday, with day and night tech scheduled
• Work with equipment including Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and Lifepak defibrillators
• Document using Meditech system
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, and active RN license
• Strong sepsis and stroke skillsets required
• Dress code: Navy scrubs required
• May be floated to psychiatric pod or other Parkridge system emergency departments
• Work in chest pain and stroke certified facility
• Collaborate with experienced staff, many with 5-20+ years tenure
• Excellent provider and nurse relations
• Access to telemetry psychiatric services
