MRI Technologist Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA. This is a 182-day contract beginning November 16, 2026, with a weekly pay of $3,300.

Position Details

• Shift: 5x8 nights
• Work with GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI equipment
• Approximately 9 patients per shift
• Always paired with another Tech Aide or MRI Tech—no solo work
• On-call responsibilities possible as needed after midnight
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as part of shift rotation

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree
• Minimum 2 years of current MRI/Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience
• GE equipment experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Current ARRT (MR) certification
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• MRI skills checklist current within one year
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required

Important Terms

• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
• Must work one holiday block if scheduled: either Christmas Eve through Christmas Day plus the following weekend, or New Year's Eve through New Year's Day plus the following weekend
• All requested time off must be noted and verified at profile upload; RTO requests submitted after upload will not be approved
• Maximum of 5 days of RTO accepted for the assignment
