MRI Technologist Job in Melrose, MA

MelroseWakefield Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team in Melrose, MA. This is a 91-day travel assignment offering competitive weekly pay of $2,702.

Role Overview

You will operate diagnostic imaging equipment in an acute care setting, performing MRI scans and ensuring high-quality patient care. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the clinical team.

Schedule & Logistics

• Shift: 10.5-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Days: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Assignment length: 91 days
• Start date: November 2, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Operate GE 1.5T MR Excite Scanner v15
• Perform MRI scans according to physician orders
• Document patient information and scan results in MEDITECH charting system
• Maintain equipment safety and quality standards
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree or equivalent
• Active MRI Technologist license
• BLS Certification (current at time of submission)
• Experience with GE MRI systems preferred
