Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - OR Inpatient</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, 4 days per week with call responsibilities<br>• Function as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary perioperative team<br>• Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation<br>• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapting to population specific characteristics<br>• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care<br>• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews<br>• Complete timely documentation and maintain respectful clinical environment<br>• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities<br>• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education<br>• Serve as preceptor and mentor for other professional nurses and students<br>• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in nursing research<br>• Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), BLS certification<br>• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred<br>• Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school<br>• Direct patient care experience preferred<br>• Must have strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and ability to function in fast-paced environment<br>• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates under a comprehensive professional practice model emphasizing evidence-based care and shared governance.
