Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Vail, CO

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for an 89-day travel assignment at Vail Valley Medical Center in Vail, Colorado. You will work rotating shifts and earn $2,209 weekly.

About the Role

You will support surgical teams across multiple specialties in a fast-paced operating room environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing surgical instruments and equipment, maintaining sterile fields, passing instruments to surgeons, and ensuring proper handling and counting of surgical supplies. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure smooth surgical procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Colorado Surgical Technologist license (DORA)
• Current BLS certification
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred but not required
• Strong orthopedic surgical experience
• Proficiency with Da Vinci XI robotic surgical system
• Experience with general surgical procedures including colon resection, hernia repair, and appendectomy
• Experience with gynecologic, spine, and trauma surgical procedures
• Total joint replacement experience, including hip, knee, and shoulder procedures
• Willingness to work within a 70-mile radius of the facility

Important Details

The facility guarantees 32 hours within a 36-hour workweek. All requests for time off and schedule modifications must be submitted at the time of application; requests submitted after the initial submission will not be approved. A manager interview is required prior to offer.
