PACU RN Job in York, ME

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at York Hospital in York, Maine.

Position Overview

You will work as a full-time RN in a fast-paced PACU environment, supporting patients through their immediate post-operative recovery. This is a rotating shift position that requires flexibility and strong clinical skills in acute patient monitoring and care.

Assignment Details

• Location: York Hospital, York, ME
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 28, 2026
• Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week
• Shift Pattern: Four 9-hour day shifts with rotating weekend call
• Weekly Pay: $2,232

Requirements

• Current RN license (valid in Maine)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an ASU/PACU or Critical Care unit
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• PALS certification (required)

What You'll Do

In the PACU, you will monitor post-operative patients, assess vital signs, manage pain, and communicate with surgical teams regarding patient status. You will provide compassionate care during a critical recovery phase and ensure smooth transitions to inpatient or discharge settings. Your experience in acute care and ability to respond quickly to changing patient conditions are essential.
