About this role
You will provide direct patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at MMC-P Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 1, 2026.
Shift and Schedule
- Four 12-hour day shifts per week
- Variable start times: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, or 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Minimal weekend hours required
- No on-call requirements
Clinical Responsibilities
- Monitor and care for post-operative patients in the immediate recovery phase
- Manage patient ratios of 1:2
- Work with surgical patient populations
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system
- Float to a different PACU with the same patient population as needed
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Minimum 3 or more years of clinical experience
- Pre-operative and PACU experience required
Compensation
- $2,840 per week
No specific scrub color requirement. This position offers you predictable day shifts with limited weekend hours and no on-call obligations, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while delivering skilled post-anesthesia nursing care.
