ICU Registered Nurse Job in Roseburg, OR

CHI Mercy Health Mercy Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in the Intensive Care Unit. You will work 3x12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM to 7:15 PM) with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements.

Clinical Role:

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU unit with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Care for cardiac and respiratory patients in an acute care, critical care setting
• Titrate critical drips including Levophed, Propofol, Insulin, Dopamine, Neosynephrine, and Precedex
• Read and interpret telemetry strips; no monitor technicians on unit
• Floating per ONA contract; contract RNs float first and complete in turn
• May be placed on call for low census with 30-minute response time

Unit Resources:

• Charge nurse and house supervisor available on unit
• Hospitalist and intensivist in house
• Respiratory therapy available 24/7 with full equipment including ventilators, CPAP, and BiPAP
• No nurse aides on unit
• MEDITECH EHR charting system

Requirements:

• Current Oregon RN license at time of submittal; 90-day Oregon Emergency License acceptable upon application
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Valid driver's license
• BSN not required

Logistics:

• 2-shift unit/department specific orientation
• Dress code: Black, cocoa brown, charcoal grey, navy blue, or khaki scrubs
• Weekly pay: $2,439
• Assignment begins October 26, 2026
