ICU RN Job in Stayton, OR

You'll work as an RN in the 4-bed ICU at Santiam Memorial Hospital in Stayton, OR. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting September 28, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,557.

Schedule & Staffing

• 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• 2-week block schedule created by management; night shifts typically grouped 3–4 in a row
• Every other weekend required
• May be asked to join holiday rotation if your shift falls on a regularly scheduled holiday
• No on-call or standby requirements
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2
• 1–2 shifts of orientation with a preceptor

Clinical Responsibilities

• Titrate critical drips: Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, Precedex, Fentanyl, Insulin, Esmolol, Versed, and Ketamine
• Read and interpret telemetry strips using Mindray monitors
• Chart in EPIC
• Common diagnoses include DKA, septic shock, ETOH withdrawal, hypoxemia, and acute respiratory distress
• Floating may be required to IMCU or Med-Surg with full patient assignment; ED float possible with prior ED experience or as helping hands without ED experience

Requirements & Certifications

• RN degree required
• ICU experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• TNCC and PALS preferred

Additional Information

• Any color scrubs accepted
• 3-shift cancellation policy per 13-week contract
• Must be able to function effectively with limited resources in a small community hospital setting
