Opportunity:

RN - Bone Marrow Oncology

Job Details:

• Work on an 8-bed Oncology/Transplant & Cellular Therapy unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 2 RNs; night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 2 RNs
• Rotating weekends required
• Chemo/biotherapy administration experience required
• BMT/Bone Marrow Transplant experience required
• Hematology experience required
• Perform procedures including chemo/biotherapy administration, bone marrow transplant care, blood administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Operate telemetry equipment and document using Meditech EMR system
• ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification required
• BLS certification required
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License required
• ONCC Oncology Certified Nurse Certification preferred
• ACLS preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
• May be required to float to med/surg
