Job Details:

• Provide direct and indirect care for a group of patients for a designated time frame across some or all age populations
• Utilize the nursing process as the basis for care, including assessment of biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge planning factors
• Plan and prescribe nursing interventions, implement them, and evaluate care rendered
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span
• Assess data reflective of the patient's age and status and interpret appropriate information to prescribe and provide care per unit and hospital policies and procedures
• On-call shift required: Wednesday 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
• No weekend requirements
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS
• Michigan nursing license required with LARA and Nursys verification
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
