Job Details:

• Work mid shift hours from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• 12-hour shift schedule
• Full-time position
• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures
• Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed
• Facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow
• Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed or required
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and participate in quality assurance
• Resolve issues related to image processing and image archiving system
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser and escalate issues to PACS administrator as needed
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel
• Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate unique patient needs
• Participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within scope of licensure
• 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required
• Basic computer experience required
• Required certifications: One of the following primary modality certifications - Radiography (R) by ARRT or Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB
• Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT or NMTCB required
• Texas MRT by TMB state licensure required
• BLS required (AHA only)
