Radiation Therapist Job in Watertown, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY. You will work 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, in the Oncology Department.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments using Varian TrueBeam and IX equipment
• Operate Aria treatment planning and management software
• Position patients and immobilize treatment sites according to physician specifications
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Apply knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology in clinical practice
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout treatment processes

Required Qualifications:

• Current New York state license in Radiation Therapy (must be in hand prior to start date)
• Minimum one year of clinical radiation therapy experience
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specific experience and training in Radiology

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 28, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $3,258.72
• Shift: 5x8 Days (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
• Facility Type: Hospital
