Infusion RN Job in Lansing, MI

Join the Sparrow Herbert-Herman Cancer Center Infusion Center as a Registered Nurse specializing in adult outpatient oncology infusion care. You will work four 10-hour shifts per week from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with every other weekend required. This is a day-shift role with no night, floating, or on-call responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, IV hydration, electrolyte replacement, iron infusions, and supportive oncology care
• Manage central line care including PICC lines and implanted ports; perform port access and de-access procedures
• Draw labs, assess and manage infusion reactions, and conduct telephone triage
• Provide symptom assessment and patient and family education and support
• Complete EMR documentation, chemotherapy verification, and maintain adherence to oncology safety protocols
• Care for 10–12 patients on weekdays and up to 14 on weekends

Equipment and Skills

You will operate Alaris IV pumps, Infusystem chemotherapy pumps, implanted ports and Port-a-Cath access devices, PICC lines, central venous catheters, ultrasound IV systems, and chemo spill kits with appropriate PPE for hazardous drugs. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment alongside oncology providers, pharmacy, and nurse navigators.

Requirements

• Active Michigan nursing license (compact license not accepted in Michigan)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcome
• ONS chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification required
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required; Beacon experience preferred

This 91-day contract begins July 20, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,591 for four 10-hour shifts.
