Infusion RN Job in Lansing, MI

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the adult outpatient oncology infusion center at Sparrow Herbert-Herman Cancer Center Infusion Center in Lansing, Michigan. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Every other weekend required; 6 weekend shifts per contract
• No night, floating, or on-call shifts
• Weekly pay: $2,419.20

Clinical Responsibilities

You will provide care for scheduled infusion visits, same-day add-ons, and urgent symptom management. Your duties include:

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, IV hydration, electrolyte replacement, and iron infusions
• Perform central line care including PICC lines, implanted ports, port access and de-access, and lab draws
• Manage infusion reactions and provide symptom assessment
• Conduct patient and family education and support
• Perform telephone triage
• Complete EMR documentation and chemotherapy verification
• Adhere to oncology safety protocols

Patient Ratios & Equipment

You will manage patient ratios of 10–12 patients during weekday shifts and up to 14 patients on weekends. You will operate Alaris IV pumps, Infusystem chemotherapy pumps, implanted ports, PICC lines, central venous catheters, chemo spill kits, and ultrasound IV equipment.

Collaboration

You will work within a multidisciplinary team that includes oncology providers, pharmacy, and nurse navigators.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan nursing license (compact license not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• ONS chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification required
• BLS certification required
• Epic experience required; Beacon experience preferred
