PCU Registered Nurse Job in Mount Vernon, Ohio

Knox Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a night shift position working three 12-hour shifts per week.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit during night hours
• Work PCU shifts with some ICU shifts as needed
• Float within Knox Community Hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as assigned
• Maintain patient safety and quality care standards

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 Nights
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,200
• Location: Mount Vernon, Ohio

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts
• Willingness to float to affiliated facilities

Important Information:

• Limited holiday request time off—only 1 day surrounding 1 holiday may be requested
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of submission
