Wound Care RN Job in Crescent City, CA

Sutter Health Coast Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Wound Care department. You will work Monday through Friday on a 5x8 day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, caring for approximately 8–10 patients daily with one patient visit every 30 minutes.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assess, coordinate, and deliver direct patient skin and wound management
• Provide comprehensive patient and family education
• Manage transitions of care across settings
• Develop and implement interdisciplinary plans of care that address psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Deliver holistic, individualized care to all patients in your assigned area
• Foster collaborative relationships among patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members
• Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable regulations

Required qualifications:

• Current California RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Previous charge experience
• Community hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
• BLS and WCC certifications

Preferred qualifications:

• LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) experience
• WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse) certification

You will care for adult and geriatric patients in a community hospital setting. This is a 91-day assignment beginning October 26, 2026. Weekly compensation is $2,544.48.
