Electrophysiology Lab RN Job in Rochester, NY

You will work as a registered nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. This is a 10-hour shift position on straight nights, working 40 hours per week across four shifts, with occasional weekends based on unit need.

Your responsibilities include:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab Holding Area across the continuum of procedural services
• Perform patient assessments, education, and procedural support for patients with coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure
• Prepare patients for procedures and manage pre-procedure education
• Monitor hemodynamics during and after procedures
• Manage moderate-sedation recovery and provide Phase I/II PACU-level post-procedure recovery care
• Function in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment, managing both acute and non-acute clinical situations

You must hold a current New York RN license and maintain BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications. Telemetry and cardiac care experience is required. A minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience is highly desired, and recent Cath and EP Lab experience is preferred.
