Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Every other weekend required, with rotating weekend call responsibilities
• Expected to work major holidays that fall within the assignment period
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Work in a Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting with 2 rooms
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Perform procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker insertion, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, IVC filter placement, embolization, and thrombolysis/thrombectomy
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, EKG lead placement, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Scrub and circulate procedures while maintaining sterile field
• Utilize unit systems including Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Float within the facility and scope of practice as needed
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS, ARRT R, and state license if applicable
• Epic charting system experience preferred
