Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CCI RCIS
• Perform diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures
• Work across 3 Cath Lab rooms with floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Charting systems used: Epic (Cupid), Pyxis, SBAR
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Every other weekend required unless specified otherwise
• Call requirements: STEMI weekend and weekday
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Holiday work expectations: if 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work all of them; if 3 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work 2 of them
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Key skills include: diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, PCI, PTCA, TAVR, Watchman, Rotablator atherectomy, temporary pacemaker, ventricular assist device insertion, ASD closures, fluoroscopy, and lead tech experience
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
