Cath Lab Technologist Job in Atlanta, GA

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. This is a 4x10 day shift role with a contract duration of 84 days, beginning June 15, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,563.20.

Role Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• Valid certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R or CCI RCIS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred

Shift Details:

• Call schedule: 5 weekdays and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
• Weekend coverage included in call obligations
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Holiday requirements: work 1 major holiday if 1 falls during assignment; work both if 2 fall during assignment; work 2 of 3 if 3 fall during assignment
• Major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission

Clinical Skills and Responsibilities:

• Cardiac implant closure device procedures
• Cardiac stent placement
• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
• Electrophysiology lab support
• IABP placement and removal
• Percutaneous coronary interventions
• Sterile technique and equipment setup/maintenance

Onboarding:

• Full compliance required to start on time
• Complete core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Clinical screening required to determine clinical fit
