Cath Lab Technologist Job in Snellville, GA

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 98-day travel assignment. You will work 4x10 days on the day shift, earning $2,881 per week, with a start date of July 20, 2026.

Role Overview

You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures in a 3-room cath lab with 5 beds. The unit maintains an average daily census of 8–10 patients with a caseload of 5–10 procedures per day. Procedures include diagnostic catheterization, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, and device implants. EP studies and ablations are not performed in this lab.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required; prior travel experience mandatory
• Hands-on proficiency with GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, and CSI equipment
• EKG competency including vital signs, rhythm interpretation, and sinus node rhythms
• Current BLS, ACLS, and RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV certification
• Epic charting system required; Merge experience preferred
• Familiarity with Pyxis and SBAR documentation
• Pacemaker experience preferred

Scheduling & Call Requirements

Every other weekend is required. You will have 10 call days per month. Floating within the department, facility, and to sister campus locations is expected. Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at submission.

Holiday Expectations

If 1–2 major holidays fall during your assignment, you are expected to work all of them. If 3 major holidays fall during your assignment, you are expected to work 2 of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.

Additional Details

The facility provides scrubs. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics. This is an in-person role with no remote work component.
