Electrophysiology Technician Job in Austin, TX

You are an Allied Health Professional with electrophysiology or catheterization lab experience, and you're ready for a focused 13-week contract assignment in Austin, Texas. St. David's Medical Center is seeking an EP Technician to join their electrophysiology lab on a day shift schedule.

Position Details

• 13-week contract assignment
• Day shift: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday (4x10)
• No call requirements and no weekend work
• Weekly pay: $2,628
• Start date: August 17, 2026

Your Role

You will perform and assist with electrophysiology procedures in a 6-bed EP Lab. Your day-to-day work includes ablations, device implants, device extractions, and structural heart procedures. You'll operate electrophysiology mapping systems including Carto, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic equipment, and you'll document using the Meditech EMR system. You'll work alongside a team of 18 lab staff, 1 charge nurse, and 3 patient care technicians on day shift.

What We Need From You

• Minimum 1 year of scrub experience in a catheterization lab or electrophysiology lab
• Greater than 1 year of scrub experience in cath lab or EP lab preferred
• Current certifications: RCIS, RCES, and ARRT
• Flexibility with changes in day-to-day tasks
• Ability to work cohesively with teammates
