Electrophysiology Technician Job in Austin, TX

Join Heart Hospital of Austin as an Electrophysiology Technician on a 13-week contract assignment. You will work day shift hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM in a fast-paced EP Lab environment with a 1:1 patient ratio during procedures.

What You'll Do

• Perform standard implant procedures and EP ablation cases (excluding VT)
• Support high-volume Watchman procedures
• Work alongside a team of 3–4 staff per procedure, including RNs, anesthesia, and a supervisor
• Monitor patients using Claris equipment
• Operate Philips EP Lab equipment
• Document in the Meditech EMR system

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of electrophysiology experience
• ARRT or RCES certification
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) license with ARRT
• 2+ years of scrubbing experience preferred
• Experience monitoring with Claris preferred

Schedule & Benefits

• 4x10 day shift (no weekends required)
• On-call rotation included
• Weekly pay: $2,628
• Assignment begins August 17, 2026
• Scrubs provided by facility
