Electrophysiology Technician Job in Austin, TX

St. David's Medical Center in Austin is seeking an Electrophysiology Technician for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, with no on-call or weekend obligations.

About the Role

You'll support a 6-bed EP Lab environment, assisting with a variety of electrophysiology procedures including ablations, device implants, device extractions, and structural heart procedures. Your responsibilities will include operating and troubleshooting advanced electrophysiology mapping systems from major manufacturers:

• Carto mapping systems
• Abbott equipment
• Boston Scientific systems
• Medtronic devices

You'll document patient information using the Meditech EMR system and adapt flexibly to daily changes in the lab schedule while maintaining strong teamwork with colleagues.

Your Background

You must have a minimum of 1 year of scrub experience in a catheterization lab or electrophysiology lab. Experience beyond the minimum year in cath lab or EP lab is preferred.
