PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday rotating shifts with start times varying between 6:30 AM, 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM, and 10:00 AM based on surgery schedule
• Weekend shifts are call only
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Call requirement: Monday through Friday 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and Saturday or Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, 2-3 times per month
• 10-bed PACU unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Must have PACU experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience required
• Preferred experience working with all patient ages including pediatrics
• No float requirements
• Equipment used includes defibrillator, ultrasound for blocks, and Philips monitors (no ventilator in unit)
• EMR system: Epic
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Scrub color: Ceil blue (provided by facility)
