Telemetry RN Job in Lima, OH

You will work as a Registered Nurse on our Telemetry unit at Lima Memorial Main Campus. This is a 91-day travel position offering 3x12 night shifts, with work every other weekend and no on-call responsibilities. Weekly pay is $2,118, and your start date is November 10, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria
• Monitor patients via telemetry and recognize changes in cardiac status
• Administer and titrate cardiac medications including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Cardene, Dobutamine, Lasix, and Bumex
• Recognize signs and symptoms of stroke and intervene when patient status changes
• Apply critical thinking skills to identify patient deterioration
• Assist in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries
• Report for all assigned shifts on time

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license with Nursys verification
• 2+ years of nursing experience
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• NIHSS certification
• Competency with cardiac medications and titration
• Knowledge of heart rhythms and telemetry monitoring
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application, pertinent to Med Surg/Telemetry
