Med Surg RN Job in Greeley, CO

You'll work as a Medical-Surgical RN at Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado. This is a 89-day travel assignment with three 12-hour night shifts per week, paying $2,295 weekly. Your start date is September 28, 2026.

In this role, you'll provide direct patient care to medical, oncology, and telemetry med-surg patients on a unit with every-other-weekend and holiday rotations. You'll assess patients across physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural dimensions while planning discharge needs. Based on patient assessment data and the medical plan of care, you'll formulate and implement individualized care plans, coordinate health care team activities, and evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising plans as needed.

You'll document all assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and promptly in the patient record. Participate in unit or facility shared leadership, contribute to improvements in national nursing quality indicators and outcomes, and may precept and mentor other staff members.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Lift up to 75 pounds regularly
• Use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with Colorado CAPS clearance
• BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional nursing certification

You may be required to float to support the Loveland Campus or Banner Fort Collins as needed. You must be proficient in reading telemetry strips and managing the diverse patient populations on this unit.
