Med Surg RN Job in Greeley, CO

You'll work as an RN on the Med Surg unit at Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado. This is a 89-day travel assignment with a start date of September 28, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3x12 day shifts per week
• $2,295 weekly
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation per unit policy

Your Role

You'll provide direct patient care to medical, oncology, and telemetry med/surg patients. Your responsibilities include assessing patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning requirements. You'll formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data, and the medical plan of care. You'll coordinate, delegate, and supervise health care team activities, evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, and revise the plan of care as needed. You'll document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in the patient record.

You may be required to float to support Loveland Campus or BFC as needed. You're expected to participate in unit or facility shared leadership and contribute to improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes. You may precept and mentor other staff members as appropriate.

Requirements

• Valid RN license with CO CAPS clearance
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months
• Proficiency in reading telemetry strips
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Standard precautions compliance due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids
• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred
