Med Surg RN Job in Idaho Falls, ID

You'll work as an RN on a Med/Oncology floor with 39 beds at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. This is a 13-week travel assignment with 4x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, offering 48 guaranteed hours per week at $2,181 weekly pay.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care with a 1:6 patient ratio on night shift
• Work alongside 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, and 2 CNAs during your shifts
• Float to Surgical/Orthopedic and Rehabilitation units as needed
• Maintain medication safety compliance with a minimum 98% scanning and administration rate
• Document and communicate with the Meditech EMR system

Unit details:

You'll use standard clinical equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Arjo lifts, Novastat systems, and computers in every patient room. Night shift staffing is structured to support safe patient care ratios. Two weekends per month are required; on-call coverage applies only during low-volume periods.

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Exceptional communication and time management skills
• Medication safety focus and compliance mindset
