Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work rotating shifts including days, nights, and weekends<br>• 5 days per week, 40 hours total<br>• Maintain 24-hour accountability for quality client care<br>• Complete physical and mental health assessments including vital signs, risk assessments, and withdrawal assessments (COWS)<br>• Administer and monitor treatment regimens and prescribed medications<br>• Observe and report behavioral changes in clients<br>• Maintain control of drugs and medications<br>• Triage emergent client medical issues and coordinate care with nursing staff, PA, NP, Medical Director, and outside providers<br>• Record all care information accurately, completely, and in a timely manner<br>• Direct care provided by licensed practical nurses<br>• Ensure OASAS/Medicaid regulatory compliance<br>• Collaborate with various departments in Quality Assessment, Assurance, and Performance Improvement Activities<br>• Associates Degree in Nursing from accredited school required, Bachelor's degree preferred<br>• Required certifications: BLS, CPI (must complete within 3 months of hire)<br>• Must successfully complete medication competency exam<br>• Required specialties: Med-Surg and Psych experience<br>• Rehab experience preferred</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a men's residential addiction recovery facility that provides comprehensive medical and behavioral health services.
