Operating Room RN Job in Keene, NH

Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Operating Room duties on a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 5x8 hour day shifts at $2,901 per week, with a start date of September 28, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform operating room RN duties within scope of practice, including support in the Interventional Radiology unit
• Work across a broad range of surgical procedures including endocrine, breast, oncologic, gastrointestinal, colon and rectal (open and laparoscopic), and hepatobiliary procedures
• Scrub experience is strongly preferred; scrub OR RNs will receive first consideration

On-Call and Scheduling Requirements

• Weekday on-call from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, typically 1 to 3 times per 5 to 6 days
• Weekend call from Friday 3:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM, approximately once every 5 to 6 weeks
• Must work posted shifts; 10 or 12-hour shifts available
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted; all RTO must be noted at profile upload and will not be approved after submission
• Scheduling accommodations including block scheduling will not be considered
• Must be willing to work at least two holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Multiple surgical specialty experience required
• Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• EPIC experience required
• Own vehicle required for this assignment
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to adapt quickly to stressful situations

Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered for this assignment.
