Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Detroit, MI

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment at Harper Hospital Nursing Office in Detroit, MI. This is a day shift position running 5x8 hours (0800–1600) with a 91-day duration, starting June 1, 2026.

About the Role

You will perform nuclear medicine procedures under the direction of licensed physicians, applying your expertise in nuclear medicine techniques and equipment. Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting basic nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as ordered
• Exercising professional judgment in patient care across all age groups, from newborn to elderly
• Assisting with patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring during procedures
• Maintaining established competencies and completing any required orientation benchmarks
• Following all facility protocols and safety standards
• Performing related duties as assigned

Facility & Environment

Harper Hospital Nursing Office is your duty location. The nuclear medicine department is conveniently located on the ground floor of the hospital facility, making workflow and patient transport straightforward.

Requirements

You must hold current credentials as an Allied Health Professional in Nuclear Medicine Technology and demonstrate strong proficiency in nuclear medicine procedures and techniques. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital setting and adaptable to varying patient needs.

What to Expect

Dress code is radiology ceil blue scrubs. This assignment offers a minimum of 13 weeks with a maximum duration of 26 weeks, providing flexibility within your travel career. Your weekly pay is $3,024.
