Cath Lab Technologist

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM with afterhours call requirement
• Weekend call required approximately every 3rd weekend
• Block scheduling is not available
• 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience required; first-time travelers will be considered
• If candidate holds ARRT(R) - Maryland State License required at time of submittal
• If candidate holds RCIS - no state license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Additional certifications: ARRT CI, ARRT R, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS
• Charting system: Meditech (preferred experience)
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Required skills include: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, Hemodynamic Monitoring, IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Left Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right Heart Catheterization, Scrub Procedures, Sterile Technique, and Temporary Pacemaker
• Additional preferred skills include: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, Impella Insertion, Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), PACS, Permanent Pacemaker Insertion (PPI), and Special Procedures
