Cath Lab Technologist Job in Baltimore, MD

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting August 31, 2026, offering a 4x10 day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with weekly pay of $3,140.

Role Responsibilities

• Support interventional and diagnostic cardiology procedures in a high-paced cath lab environment
• Perform scrub and circulator duties for cardiac catheterization, coronary intervention, and structural heart procedures
• Manage equipment including Phillips and Mac Lab systems
• Work with a daily patient census of 12 to 20 adults and geriatric patients
• Participate in call coverage: 1 to 2 weeknight call shifts (Monday–Friday) and 3 to 24 hours of weekend call per month

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab experience within the last 7 years
• Completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Either CCI RCIS or ARRT R certification (Maryland state license required if ARRT certified)
• Proficiency in interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, right and left heart catheterization, rotablator, thrombectomy, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty

Preferred Skills

• Cerner EHR experience
• Acute monitoring and room circulator experience
• ACIST, Watchman, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR procedures
