Interventional Radiology RN Job in Winston Salem, NC

Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology in Winston Salem, NC. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning August 3, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week
• Weekly pay: $2,325.60
• Manager-scheduled shifts with no float requirement

Call Requirements

• Must be at hospital within 30 minutes of call
• 1 week backup call, then primary on Thursday
• Total of 8 call days over 10–12 weeks
• Call hours: end of shift until 7:00 AM; weekend call is 24-hour rotation, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Possible holiday on-call assignment (primary or backup)

Role Details

• Target caseload: 16 cases per day across three IR rooms
• Pre- and post-procedure coverage in the Radiology Pre Post Unit (RPPU) as needed
• Patient population: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Tertiary care center with complex diagnoses
• Unit systems: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
• Scrubs provided (ceil blue)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications
• Skills: conscious sedation, telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, interventional radiology procedures, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, ventilator management, neuro/stroke procedures, and coilings
• First-time travelers accepted

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS certification
• Circulate experience

Orientation

• 8-hour unit orientation
• Hospital orientation during week one; daily class availability required
