Opportunity:
RN - IR
Job Details:
• 4x10-hour shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week available
• 13-week contract
• Call requirement: Must be at hospital within 30 minutes; 1 week of backup then primary on Thursday, totaling 8 call days in a 10-12 week period; possibility of being on call for one holiday (primary or backup)
• Call hours run from end of shift until 7:00 AM; backup call supports the primary call person during the same window
• Weekend call is 24-hour call and backup call, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM on a rotational basis
• No float requirement
• Target caseload of 16 cases per day across three IR rooms with pre and post coverage in the Radiology Pre Post Unit (RPPU) as needed
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Tertiary care center serving complex patient diagnoses
• Unit systems include PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR
• Scrubs provided (ceil blue)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required skills: Conscious sedation, telemetry, and understanding of IR procedures including stroke
• Preferred skills: PALS, circulate, ventilator management
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
• Preferred certifications: PALS
• Required skills include: Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, interventional radiology, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, ventilator management, neuro/stroke procedures, and coilings
• 8-hour unit orientation; hospital orientation during week one with availability required for classes each day
• Manager-scheduled shifts
• Interview required prior to offer; candidate must provide availability for interview within 72 hours of submission
