Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts with scheduling flexibility, including shift times of 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, 9:00 AM–7:30 PM, and 11:00 AM–9:30 PM
• Primary shift is 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 4 shifts per week, Monday through Friday
• No weeknight call required
• Possible weekend call coverage from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday on a rotating basis
• Rotating holiday call required
• Call response time of 30 minutes required
• Work across 6 OR suites, 2 cardiac suites, and 3 outpatient suites
• Handle 20–25 inpatient cases and 10–12 outpatient cases per day
• Common cases include total joints (knees, shoulders, hips), robotics-XI, urology, GYN, general surgery, plastics, neuro including spinal procedures, ENT, outpatient eyes, and GI
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in specialty or experience in a larger facility with significant spine volume
• Must be flexible with daily schedule changes based on operational needs and case volume
• May float to outpatient surgery center as needed
• 2-week unit/department specific orientation provided
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Charting system: Epic experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA); NBSTSA preferred but not required
• BSN not required
• Acute care setting
