Certified Surgical Technologist Job in San Francisco, CA

You'll work as a Certified Surgical Technologist at Sutter Health CPMC Van Ness Campus in San Francisco, California. This is a 91-day travel assignment running 4x10 night shifts with variable start times between 6:45 AM and 1:00 PM. You'll earn $1,972 per week.

Your responsibilities include assisting in surgical preparation and execution across a wide range of specialties. You'll perform routine and delegated duties according to department and hospital standards, working with patients from neonates through geriatrics. The surgical specialties you'll support include cardiac, ophthalmology, robotic, ortho spine, neurosurgery, gynecology, general surgery, pediatrics, ENT, oral, transplants, and vascular procedures.

You'll operate specialized surgical equipment including the Da Vinci Xi robot, Ion robot, Globus robot, Brainlab, cataract machine, and vitrectomy machine. The facility operates a 12-room operating suite with a daily census of 25 cases.

Requirements:

• CST licensure (NBSTSA) required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a surgical technologist
• Experience with vascular, transplant, ophthalmology, spine, robotic, and cardiac procedures is ideal
• On-call availability required
• Every other weekend shift required
• Weekend shifts included in schedule rotation
