About this role

LBH - Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 98-day travel assignment. You will work 3x12 night shifts and receive $2,183 weekly.

Role Overview

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide critical respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple units, including the Emergency Department and Adult Critical Care settings. You will manage a wide range of respiratory procedures and work closely with interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory Services and Rapid Response Teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and manage BiPAP, CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) therapy
  • Assist with mechanical ventilation, intubation, extubation, and weaning protocols
  • Conduct bronchoscopy support and tracheostomy care and management
  • Draw, interpret, and troubleshoot arterial blood gas results
  • Administer respiratory medications including Albuterol, Atrovent, Flovent, Pulmicort, Mucomyst, Spiriva, and Racemic Epinephrine
  • Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and aerosol treatments
  • Administer nitric oxide therapy
  • Troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and manage ventilator settings
  • Document all care using the Cerner charting system
  • Provide weekend coverage as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an RRT or CRT
  • Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience required
  • Trauma Level II experience preferred
  • Valid Maryland or Compact license
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and RRT certifications
  • First-time travelers accepted
