Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts
• Every other weekend required with holiday coverage expected
• No on-call requirement
• Float between Adult and NICU units
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• 2 years of experience as RRT in Adult Critical Care and NICU required
• 1 prior travel assignment completed required
• Required certifications: BLS, CRT, MD State licensure
• Preferred: ED experience, ACLS
• Scrubs not provided - must wear ceil blue color
• Must be familiar with Draeger V500, Draeger VN500, and Servo U ventilators
• Perform airway management including endotracheal tube/suctioning, extubation, nasal and oral airway placement
• Conduct pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care
• Interpret arterial blood gases and assist in high-risk deliveries
• Administer various respiratory medications including Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, and others
• Operate high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, CPAP, and troubleshoot ventilator alarms
• Comfortable drawing and analyzing ABGs
• Use Cerner charting system
• Care for neonates, infants, adults, and geriatric patients
