CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Float between X-ray and CT departments as required
• Review patient history and physician's orders prior to procedures
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered
• Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate
• Prepare equipment and supplies and implement safety standards
• Perform appropriate quality control procedures on equipment
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures
• Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results
• Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results
• Operate Siemens 16 slice CT machine
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Radiology and CT required
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ARRT certification in RD and CT
• Florida CT/Rad Tech license required
