Med Surg RN Job in Aurora, CO

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for a 91-day travel assignment at HCA HealthONE Aurora in Aurora, Colorado. You will work the day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Med Surg units with a typical patient ratio of 1:5 on day shifts (ratios vary by unit and are not guaranteed)
• Care for patients undergoing joint replacement and fracture repair procedures
• Support patients with spinal injuries and acute or chronic medical conditions
• Collaborate with RNs and CNAs as part of the care team
• Float between units as staffing needs require
• Utilize the Meditech EMR system in daily workflow

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in Med Surg, Ortho, or related hospital setting
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Chemo certification (preferred; may open scheduling on the Oncology unit)
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
• Flexibility to adapt to varied patient populations and unit assignments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
