CVOR Technologist Job in Wenatchee, WA

Confluence Health Hospital-Central Campus is seeking a Surgical Technician to join the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team in Wenatchee, Washington. This is a 92-day travel assignment beginning October 26, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM–7:00 PM)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• On-call availability required; minimum 14 days of call per 6-week schedule
• Weekly pay: $2,200

Your Role

You will serve as a vital member of the surgical team in the scrub position during cardiovascular procedures. Your responsibilities include setting up and maintaining the sterile field, managing surgical instruments and equipment, and assisting the surgical team throughout each case. You will prepare according to surgeon preference cards, handle emergency situations, and maintain proficiency across a variety of cardiovascular surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of surgical equipment and instrumentation specific to CVOR
• Properly use instruments, sutures, and stapling devices
• Follow correct and safe technique in equipment handling and sterilization
• Perform accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts at appropriate intervals
• Identify and report faulty equipment and unsafe conditions
• Prepare, save, and properly identify all specimens according to department policy
• Maintain a safe environment through technical and aseptic practices aligned with AORN Standards

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology
• Current Washington State Surgical Technologist license
• National Certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists (CST)
• BLS certification
• CVOR experience required
