CVOR Technologist Surgical Tech Job in Seattle, WA

Virginia Mason Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Tech – CVOR Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in Seattle, Washington. You will work 4x10-hour rotating shifts with variable start times of 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM, maintained consistently within each week. Tuesdays and Fridays include later start times for in-services and team meetings.

Scheduling and On-Call:

• No self-scheduling; schedule is assigned
• One on-call shift per 4-week rotation (weeknight or weekend)
• Weekday call: end of shift until 7:00 AM next morning
• Weekend call: 24 hours (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM), rotated among staff and travelers
• 30-minute call response time with on-site call room available
• No floating requirements

Role Responsibilities:

You will work across 16 service lines including Cardiovascular, Thoracic, General, GYN, Urology, Vascular, Plastics, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Sports Medicine, and Transplant. You will handle 50–65 cases per day across 22 operating suites (expandable to 26 on three floors). Cases are large and complex. You will use the Cerner charting system.

Required Qualifications:

• Washington State Surgical Tech license at time of application (no pending licenses)
• Minimum one year of scrubbing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Registered with Washington State and graduate of an accredited school
• Cardiac surgery experience required
• ENT experience including FESS (sinus), septoplasty, cochlear implant, tympanoplasty, laryngoscopy, and soft tissue procedures (thyroid/parathyroid)
• DaVinci XI robotic surgery experience (GYN, URO, General)
