ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Straight nights or 50/50 scheduling available
• 3 weekend shifts required within a 4-week period
• Patient ratio of 1:2, with 1:3 for PCU boarders and 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity cases including IABP, CRRT, and open hearts
• 24-bed ICU unit with a staff of 46
• Documentation system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 1 year of strong experience may be considered
• Required certification: ACLS
• Perform rapid sequence intubations, central line placements, bronchoscopy, arterial line placement, and chest tube placement
• Experience with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, and arterial lines required
• Floating may be required to PCU or as a sitter anywhere in the hospital inpatient setting
• Outgoing team player personality preferred
