ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work night shifts in the ICU
• Scheduling requirements are straight nights or 50/50
• 3 weekend shifts required within a 4-week period
• Patient ratio of 1:2 (1:3 for PCU boarders, 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity including IABP, CRRT, and open hearts)
• 24-bed ICU unit with 46 staff members
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; will consider 1 year of strong experience
• Must be proficient in rapid sequence intubations, central line placements, and arterial line placements
• Experience required with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, arterial lines, and other ICU skills
• Additional procedures performed on unit include bronchoscopy, intubation, and chest tube placement
• Documentation system: EPIC
• Floating policy: PCU or as a sitter anywhere in the hospital inpatient setting
• Required certification: ACLS
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
• Outgoing team player personality preferred
